Are you a big snacker? What do you snack on?
I’m a certified snacker. I don’t eat really big meals, but I eat little bites throughout the day. I get hungry every 3 hours, up to midnight. It’s my body’s functional flaw. That’s why I avoid buying and keeping junk foods in our pantry [especially Pringles, Stax, and Cheez It -- my major weaknesses] or I’d be so tempted to reach for them.
Yesterday at the supermarket, I made a conscious choice to get healthy snacks, including these:

If my parents are reading this they’d be surprised considering that I have insisted for years that I hate grapes. It seems that I’ve outgrown my aversion to them [to the grapes, not my parents! Haha...I love them.]. Not sure why — because of age? fact of mortality? Who knows. One thing’s for sure, I keep popping them in my mouth now.
They’re green, too. It’s intentional. ;-) Happy St. Patty’s!
Coincidentally, my green Gourmet apron free from the new subscription just arrived. It’s a sign! A sign that we need to get going with our corned beef and beer, that is. Later foodies!

Those grapes look great. My Achilles’ heel is good old fashioned peanuts or popcorn. Once I start on either of these I will normally only stop when the supply runs dry.

ooooh, grapes! One of my favorites! I like mine with a handful of nuts (hahaha!) and a few squares of bittersweet chocolate, or a small amount of ghirardelli chocolate chips.

I like snacking cookies, but don’t do that because I don’t want to gain weight. :S
I love grapes, Joy, and I’m glad you are giving them a second chance!

i love grapes, but i hardly ever buy them because i always end up eating way, way too many!
my most embarrassing snack, considering i’m not much of a packaged/processed food person… cocoa puffs! they have them in our cafeteria at work and i eat a little bowl almost every afternoon. :-)

Lately, my snacks have been energy bars, like Powerbar Harvest, Cliff bars, Balance, and Luna (Yes, they say they’re for women’s nutrition but they eat like a candy bar) I, too, and trying to steer from the usual junk fare, but it’s a weaning process. (I will buckle if you put a Hostess Cupcake in front of me)
Try apples, too. An apple a day keeps calories away. You are what you eat so eat well, Sweetie … I love you, too.
they don’t look like grapes to me. uhmm the photo you posted or was it just too close? hehehe.
Yeah. I love grapes!!!

I’m a grape lover too! I snack on just about any fruit, especially pears, and apples.
My favorite snack is carrots. I can eat whole fresh carrots all day, I’m addicted.
I think that I was a rabbit in my former life. Only our rabbit eats bananas, not carrots – go figure! :D

Arnold — Haha. I used to be really hooked on peanuts. Do you eat flavored popcorn, with butter or just plain?
Elle — You just made me hungry with that! lol.
Patricia — I feel the same way, so I try to limit that. Thanks…I’m rediscovering foods that I used to avoid. They weren’t as bad as my teenage mind though. :)
Katy — I hear ya. If I don’t watch it, I can finish several handfuls. I love cocoa puffs! All the other non-processed food you eat cancels out that afternoon snack. ;-)
Dan — MMmhhhmmm….you know each will cost you 2 days of working out :p
Lil — Oh, we’re eating apples, too! :)
Laarni — Hmm…I honestly don’t know how they won’t look like grapes. They are bigger than actual size, though. Go grapes!
Shelia — Oh, good for you! I need to snack on fruits more. I can only snack on carrots when I’m in the mood for it, and usually with ranch dressing. I eat a lot of the dressing so I avoid that snack most of the time. Hahaha…I think the rabbit didn’t get the memo about the carrots!
Cheez-Its are one of my weaknesses, too! This is a good reminder to pick up some grapes next time I’m at the store. It’s been too long since I’ve had some!
