Metroknow — Aw, cool! I carry a point and shoot, but when we went to Seattle, I just lugged around the big D70 because I could never get shots equivalent to it with the P&S (altho, it is 3 years old!).

Seattle is my hometown, so I’ve really loved seeing your travels there.

I had one question – do you carry a smaller point and shoot with you, or do you just use your “bigger” camera everywhere? I carry my D70 with me most places, but I’ve really been thinking about getting a smaller point and shoot for convenience. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I love those beautiful flowers! And the garlic! mmmmm. I wish we had a nice fresh market like that around here. One of my favorite parts of watching Andrew Zimmern's food/travel show is when he hits the local markets. I can imagine, like you said, sensory overload!
