Thank you for the trip report and the photos - I haven't been to Vancouver in probably 10 years, and hope to return soon. A friend of mine is married to a woman from China, so they are quite particular about Chinese cuisine. They swear that Vancouver has the best selection of Asian-focused restaurants on the West coast. The Indian food choices are also apparently exceptional (something that is sorely lacking here in Portland).

Wishing you a very speedy recovery!

Hi Joy, wishing you a speedy recovery! Those photos that you take are simply beautiful. My personal favorite is the one contrasting 'life' and 'death.' Truly amazing! I remembered a quotation that goes something like this, "Life begins where it ended." It couldn't be more true.

BK's last blog post..A Walk Along One Fullerton

Beautiful! We've been talking about making a trip to Portland, Oregon, and Seattle. We may just have to extend it up to Vancouver. I've always heard wonderful things about it.

Ben -- Thanks! Haha...good to hear. :D

Katy -- It's a great place to run, indeed. I don't run (knees hurt), but a lot of people have their regular run there. Also, this coming weekend, part of Canada's 10K Sun Run is on Stanley Park.
