I’m not sure if you can tell from some of our posts that we are wine drinkers, but what you probably don’t know is that we consume a glass each almost every dinner (or sometimes lunch). Now that I told you that, you might be expecting to see wine racks full of bottles in our home. The truth is, we only have a single-bottle holder and it’s holding a much-ignored Merlot. I know, I know…how did that happen?
We have been buying a bottle of wine on a per-need basis and it goes straight to the refrigerator to chill before dinner. However, with the prices of almost every thing going up, we might as well go buy a case of them to save. [Outstanding logic coming out of this analytical head, you see. You thought I was going to say we’re going to stay quit it?] And with that, we might as well get a wine rack and display to the world (or at least to wary visitors) that we are that kind of couple – the drinking one. Perhaps this? It looks like a space-saver, but the design might pose a costly user problem for me if I can’t get the bottles in right. Oops. I really like the simplicity of this, too…but we’re not looking for a one-bottle support/rack. Oh the lure of online shopping…
Do you have wine racks for your vino? Or did you go for a wine cooler?

We hardly ever drink wine. But I do buy quality wines for cooking with. I like your choices!

Usually I add the wine that we’re going to have to the food. :) Thanks!
Congratulations on the decision to buy a case (or cases!) of wines you like. A professional piece of advice about wine racks: Don’t buy a too big one. It takes up space and a home is not the best place to let wines sit for a long time (unless you have a cool basement). Actually, under the bed is one of the best places to keep wines in a normal household, assuming the bedroom is the coolest room in the house. And for that you don’t need any wine rack! And wine cases, stacked, can be a pretty sight in themselves, too.
