Am I reading a typo in this recipe? I checked it with Gourmet.com too. How can 1/2 pound of meat possibly be expected to serve 4 people? Last time I heard about it, the new serving size for meat is 4 ounces (1/4 pound) according to the nutritional pros, and most people eat more than that in one sitting. So is this supposed to serve 2, meagerly? Or is there supposed to be double the meat? I love rosemary but it is a potent herb. 1 1/2 tablespoons in what yields less than 1/2 cup of sauce sounds like too much to me. It will taste very piney.

That said, cooking this with double the meat and half of the rosemary seemed to yield a pretty tasty dish and fed two adults and one child quite nicely.

Thanks girlie! Trust me, I've missed a lot of recipes. I have to go through the pages from issues months ago and mark recipes that I want to try. Your commitment sounds like a plan and a potential cooking challenge group. :D

Oh my goodness! I absolutely think that rosemary is one of the most incredible herbs in the world, and can only imagine how delicious this recipe for beef with white wine and rosemary must taste. I will try this, soon!

Simple and good. Give us a bit of brown basmati rice on the side, and we're good to go!

Looks yummy and easy! I get Gourmet too, how did I miss that one? I think I need to commit to making at least one recipe out of each magazine each month.
